BMSTU (2014-2018)
Bauman Moscow State Technical University (BMSTU)
is my first university, from which I graduated and where I got my bachelor with honours (red diploma).
I was studying Applied Linguistics and working as a system administrator at L3 and L4. There I got basic knowledge of programming for text parsing and analysis, data bases, language/text corpora handling and manual writing.
I also took part in developing interactive learning environment for studying techincal English based on Moodle course management system.
In my free time I was making games on Game Maker Studio, inventing interactive elements for open-world games and participating in conferences and competitions such as EBEC and SEE (Science and Engineering Education).
DAE (2019-2021)
Howest Digital Arts and Entertainment (DAE) is a Belgian university for people who want to be involved in either game or film industry.
This university has taught me a lot in terms of programming for games, algorithms, design patterns and working in a team.
Besides dry code, I also had a chance to make some game art: models, levels and sprites. Although I did not go through most complex parts of game art making, I have a clear vision of how hard and valuable artist's work is.
During my studies here I made 2 projects on Unreal Engine 4, 2 games on Unity (including a group project) and 3 games on C++ (with SDL). You can check them out by visting my projects page.
