Projects Unity: Список

This project was made for DAE:GD 2nd year, 2nd semester course "Group project"

Sand&Rum is my first group project. I have been working on it side by side with 3 artists and 1 more programmer. I have been in charge for main mechanics like: movement, shooting, upgrade/progression system, game loop logic, etc.

Together we went through the whole production pipeline and managed to craft a fun little adventure with challenges and style. This project was an awesome teamwork test - random students, random skills, random ideas. I am glad we managed to give birth to such a good product.

THE SHOVALIBUR

This project was made for DAE:GD 2nd year, 1st semester course "Game mechanics"

Heavily inspired by Post Void and Ultrakill, this game project is my training for action-movement genre. It has a circular nature, which means it has a finite amount of levels to be played over and over again with the "NewGame+" feature. The player faces a challenge of fighting for life while lacking battle power and having an extremely little amount of resources at disposal, but after overcoming initial difficulties the might of the main character grows exponentially.

After several playthroughs, the players were admiring, how hilariously overpowered they become with time and how much fun for a 15 minutes game it is. At some point the player gets all the upgrades, but it is not possible to get them too soon, because the prices for the upgrades are calculated according to current successes. However, after managing leveling out all the stats, the players can compete in reaching the highest score, which is life-time in case of the game.

RESEARCH: SQUAD FORMATION & COORDINATED MOVEMENT

This project was made for DAE:GD 2nd year, 1st semester course "Gameplay programming"

This is a project made to demonstartate theory behind squad formation in strategy and action-strategy games. The main idea is to calculate positions for squad units depending on which formation has been choosen. Different formations are used for differnet offensive or defensive purposes, whcih can be interpreted in games in a number of ways depending on gameplay rules.

You can read more about this research on its github page.
